I’m assuming you’re at this page because you’re curious about molecular hydrogen and why it’s being discussed in scientific and wellness circles. Topics often associated with this curiosity include aging, metabolism, cardiovascular health, and athletic performance.

First, let me be clear: molecular hydrogen is not a cure for disease, it does not reverse aging, and it does not replace appropriate medical care or medical procedures when those are needed.

While molecular hydrogen is not a treatment or cure, it is being actively studied for its biochemical characteristics and potential supportive roles in general physiological processes.

Most people are unfamiliar with molecular hydrogen as it pertains to the human body for a couple of key reasons. The main one is that it is non-reactive. There is no positive or negative charge to it. It does not react in the body as other antioxidants do.  It is also not stored in the body and is cleared out of the body in less than 2 hours. It does not need a carrier (water or oil-based )to facilitate its movement. These are all things that appear as chemical reactions and can be identified, calculated, and studied. Its simplicity lies in the fact that its most apparent beneficial function is to convert what many consider the worst free radical into water. Simple but arguably very powerful
