Hello Judy

As you know, I've been in the water filter business for almost 25 years. I have researched dozens of waters, like hard water, soft water, well water, magnetized water, swirled water, and a number of so-called super waters. However, not too long ago, I came across "hydrogen-infused water". Personally, I think it's life-changing, and in my talks with you, I think it's something you would be very interested in as well. Please read on. And let me know what you think. I have my equipment recommendations, but the important thing is success with the therapy, not the gear used.

Why Hydrogen-infused water ?

I have been associated with hydrogen-infused water now for three years. My wife and I purchased an ionizer for mixed reasons. For the first year, it sat up on our closet shelf, which is another story all by itself. The second year, I hooked it up to our reverse osmosis system; the water tasted really good. However, I couldn't validate any benefit or appreciate the pH manipulation that it was advertising.

During the second year, I got very frustrated because I couldn't find any real value in it and it wasn't cheap. Part of me wanted it to work to validate the cost, but most of me just really wanted it to work, somehow; I'm old, I've got a lot of issues going on that I would love to have some help with.

By summer 2025, I came across some interesting information in the back of the ionizer manual. It was a disclaimer saying the bubbles I was seeing were a byproduct of the ionization process: "no worries they were inert hydrogen bubbles" . Coincidentally, I had just come across a study called "Hydrogen Water: Extra Healthy or a Hoax?"(link at btm). Looking for a value in the ionizer I started checking hydrogen out. This sent me down the unbelievably confusing road of hydrogen, pH, oxygen-free radicals, oxidative stress, and cell signaling, along with some understanding of terminologies like Redox, ORP, ATP,ROS, and HO...

I was finding out exactly what hydrogen does in our bodies, and by the way, as far as I can see, it doesn’t cure anything on its own! It doesn't cure cancer, grease up arthritic joints, clean out clogged arteries, or eliminate diabetes. It does two things that I've found so far. It is a major signaling component between cells and body parts in reference to inflammation and oxidative stress, and it is the body's number one neutralizer of the body's number one nemesis - the Hydroxyl Radical. I don't know if you're familiar with the cartoon character, the Tasmanian Devil. But the Hydroxyl Radical is the Tasmanian Devil of our body. Its number one job is to kill, destroy, and deform on the cellular level. And it does this continually until we eventually die. It attacks our DNA., our genes, our cell nucleus, mitochondria, and the interior walls of the arteries. It attacks  the telomeres on the end of our chromosomes and even goes after the chromosomes themselves. I've got a whole page full of issues that it's responsible for.  However, our number one defender against this radical is already in the body. It's the lowly, littler-than-little hydrogen atom.

"Cell signaling"  is our body's process to direct some of our body's resources to areas in need where inflammation is going on - inflammation causes oxidative stress, and oxidative stress generates more hydroxyl radicals to damage our bodies and occupy our resources. Think of it as the firefighter fighting the fire (Inflammation and oxidative stress) and also as the fire chief, sending out the firefighters to fight the fires. Understand this already goes on in our body. It's a natural body process. The body produces it's own limited amount of  hydrogen. Now imagine instead of having two or three firefighters on the scene fighting inflammation and stress, you've got hundreds. Now you can start to see the benefit of drinking H2 water. Now, the caveat - molecular hydrogen only stays saturated in water and the body for about two hours so a plan is needed.

My major conclusion was that it wasn't the amount of hydrogen that I was ingesting, that's pretty well capped by physics. It is the  time intervals in between ingesting that makes the difference. I had to drink 250 mL of hydrogen-infused water every two hours to keep the hydrogen wall up.

It was late summer 2025  when I seriously started to apply  my hydrogen therapy. I have diabetic and cardiac concerns, but anti-aging was first on my list. I am in my seventies and I was feeling it. Back in my forties and fifties, if problems and solutions were balls and I was a ball juggler I could be juggling ten to fifteen balls at a time - truly, that was my forte. Total multitasker. I started to lose that ability in my sixties. Down to four or five balls . Coming into my seventies I was having trouble just keeping track of one ball. However, this past winter, that brightened considerably. I'm not back to where I was in my forties and fifties although I'm moving in that direction. And along with that, my drive has picked up. My bike rides are getting longer and more intense My energy is on the rise. Subtle but important markers have started a retro movement. My outlook on things is becoming brighter, and most notably I'm starting to notice a regression in my arthritis. The damage to my joints is still there, but the sting has been on the decline.

I did not sign up to be the H2 poster boy. I've been the water filter guy for twenty five years and my customers are used to me bringing information about water-associated studies and technologies. I'm making a little bit more noise about this one because I truly believe that it's working. I have a therapy procedure and equipment recommendation that I use. If the challenge of anti-aging and  good health-defense-maintenance is of interest to you then check this site for a starting point: Hydrogen Water: Extra Healthy or a Hoax . The equipment that I use is the Enagic K8 ionizer and a couple of 250 mL -H2 disk generators. Check these out and have your questions ready for when I come to change your water filters.

I will see you soon, Clay, 519-819-4451
